Backing up data now, before redoing windows, may perpetuate the malware if your pc is infected. Malwarebytes is one of the better free programs. if that doesn't get it and you have a couple bucks extra, kaspersky is pretty good as well. ccleaner shouldn't be necessary to start up with. Malwarebytes probably found nothing because windows defender quarantined the file. it is likely still there, and might have other payloads ready to be deployed from other files.
