Annoying Popup Every Time I Open A Word Document - Windows 10 Forums Something peculiar that i noticed is that this is not the case for every onedrive document that i have. and for the ones that do, moving the document to my local pc storage and then moving it back to onedrive makes the popup not appear anymore in that document. Work has stopped now, i am retired, but i have many word documents and every time i open one i get the office 365 pop up urging me to join. how do i get rid of that? and why can i not open some of my word documents, the message that i get with some, not all, is that the document may be corrupted.

Annoying Popup Every Time I Open A Word Document - Page 2 - Windows 10 Forums I have file explorer (fe) set with preview pane enabled and, if i single click on a word document the preview pane shows ‘this file cannot be previewed’ and i find a pop up behind the fe window. I couldn't see that before because i was using the open shell (a free retro start menu program) instead, but i hope that solves the problem. again, thanks for all the suggestions!. I'm still able to save my word document where i originally chose to save it, yet continue to get this pop up message which freezes my word document until i respond by clicking "ok". it is extremely annoying and inefficient to have to keep clicking "ok" to this pop up message every few seconds.
