Historic Sohn-Clyffside Brewery To Be Renovated - BREWING HERITAGE TRAIL Clyffside brewery was awarded a total tax credit of more than $1.3 million. the project, located at 244 246 w. mcmicken ave., will rehabilitate the long vacant building into a brewery and event spaces with bars, catering kitchens and decks. We loved this tour from start to finish, and i am really impressed with what the brewing heritage trail is doing to preserve and share cincinnati’s unique history!.

When prohibition was repealed in 1933, this location reopened as the clyffside brewery and began an expansion of the facility, constructing new bottling and distribution buildings on the east side. Another round of building renovations coming to the brewery district thanks to state of ohio historic tax credits, including the historic sohn clyffside brewery on west mcmicken!. The physical portion of the trail is about 3/4 of a mile long and you can hop on at findlay market or in grant park. signage marks historic brewery sites and individual buildings, as well as shares important stories, facts, and photos along the way.
