The elevation contains over 180 panes of customised glazing, inviting sunlight to penetrate the gallery and fall onto the city behind it. the entire second level has been rotated, adding an artistic twist to the impressiveness of the cliff. Sitting on top of a riverside cliff, jiangshan yun chu – legend gallery is a response to localised architecture. in exploring the relationship between nature and urban space, the architecture is subtly filled with images of cliffs, riverbends, mountains and sunsets, interpreted as simple curves cutting across the sky. 项目作为人居艺术馆，是对建筑在地化的一次尝试、一个回应；在城市背景下，探求自然与地理条件的空间映射。 艺术馆临近嘉陵江畔，两条反向的江湾左右了附近的城市肌理，形成城市区域内宏大的自然背景，而选址恰好在临江悬崖的制高点之上，能够将整个江湾的景色纳入眼底，也可以俯瞰悦来未来核心tod区域。 设计在启动之初的多次场景化尝试，在自然背景下皆显得突兀而苍白。 然而，在一次傍晚的场地探访中，眼见落日的余晖将城市染为单色，天地之间，山体和江湾的地理场景瞬间成为最强烈的主角；回归设计本质，呼应场所、回应自然，启发了正确的设计方向，进而促成方案成型。 有限的设计语言被放大为悬崖、江湾、夕阳、和山形的运用：建筑的整体形态复印江湾和山体的走向，用一条简洁的曲线，塑造空中一道湾流。.
