Data Driven Control | PDF | Machine Learning | Artificial Intelligence Our main contribution is a systematic method ology that synergistically combines high gain observers (hgos) with koopman operator theory for data driven, output feedback optimal control. Mohammad al saaideh ph.d electrical engineering , memorial university, canada. Abstract—we examine the problem of two point boundary optimal control of nonlinear systems over finite horizon time pe riods with unknown model dynamics by employing reinforcement learning. Boker is an expert on the analysis and control of nonlinear systems. his research interests include machine learning and data driven control with applications to robotics and power systems.

His research interests include data driven estimation and control of dynamic systems. he received the 2002 smallpeice trust prize from the university of leeds for “an outstanding work on mechatronics” and the best poster award from the graduate research symposium, michigan state university, in 2012. Ece collegiate professor almuatazbellah (muataz) boker is pushing the boundaries of modeling and control—and bringing students on the journey with him. while pursuing his research on nonlinear systems, he is helping ece extend its reach from northern virginia. Vasanth was able to develop computationally efficient data driven control systems for linear time varying systems, nonlinear systems and large scale systems with performance guarantees. This paper presents the design of a multi objective pid (proportional, integral, and derivative) controller in three time scales for a system with load disturbances and sensor noise.
