Digital Health And The Health Workforce | IFMSA To ensure that everyone benefits from digital transformations of health and health care, there is an urgent need to orient digital health priorities towards the establishment of a strong health workforce taking into consideration the critical role young people play. The overall goal of the workshop was to improve the capacity of the future health workforce and youth leaders from around the world on important concepts related to governing health futures within the digital transformation of health.

Digital Health Workforce | Enabling The Digital Health Workforce The insights from this pre wha assembly will help inform ifmsa’s and who’s continued engagement —working towards ensuring that the implementation of digital health technologies is equitable, safe, and effective for all. The objectives of this paper are to present the findings of a three step approach in understanding the current hurdles in developing a health management workforce that can enable and maximize the benefits of digital health transformation, and to explore ways of overcoming such hurdles. The international federation of medical students’ associations (ifmsa) and transform health welcome the inclusion of digital health in the final declaration of the health workforce conference 2022, held between 07 and 09 february in nairobi, kenya. Furthermore, the ifmsa emphasises the need for digital health education for medical students worldwide, the current health workforce, patients and communities at risk of being left behind in the digital transformation of healthcare.

Furthermore, the ifmsa emphasises the need for digital health education for medical students worldwide, the current health workforce, patients and communities at risk of being left behind in the digital transformation of healthcare. We advocate for policies that ensure everyone, especially disadvantaged groups, benefit from digital health innovations, supported by digital literacy initiatives for both the health workforce and the general public. Digital health plays a pivotal role in strengthening health information systems. in many lmics, paper based record keeping has been the norm, leading to inefficient data management and limited capacity for evidence based decision making. As essential building blocks of health systems, the health workforce, and so ifmsa and medical students worldwide play an important role in encouraging digital health innovation in our health and care systems. In this commentary, we highlight three priority areas which should be prioritised in digital education to realise the benefits of digital health: capacity building, opportunities for youth, and an ethics driven approach.
