Ecme ‘mini projects’ #grant was launched at the end of april 2020 and received a huge response in applications from right across the uk. the ecme centre made. Enodatis a web based clinical support tool for respiratory care of covid 19 patients. Ecme invited proposals which aligned with the challenge areas identified by the world health organisation including the provision of ppe equipment and the supply of rapid diagnostic kits.

Ecme invited proposals which aligned with the challenge areas identified by the world health organisation including the provision of ppe equipment and the supply of rapid diagnostic kits. S3 connected health, as part of this project, aims to help guide digital health manufacturers in navigating complex international regulations to ensure compliance and success on a global scale. Projects that receive funding through the ecme programme will allow industry and researchers to remain at the forefront of exploration and discovery and make meaningful contributions to the social, health, environmental and economic well being of citizens across the eligible area. Developing a connected medical device isn’t simply about adding connectivity to existing hardware. it requires a comprehensive ensuring robust cybersecurity across the entire lifecycle of a medical device, while aligning with evolving regulatory expectations. The s3 connected health team conducted a complete firmware redevelopment project, improving device resilience, enhancing the overall reliability and performance of the epore® generator.
