3D Human Pose Estimation Using RGBD Camera | Request PDF This work addresses a method to map the estimated 2d pose from a color image to 3d pose and obtain more accurate 3d keypoints. in this paper, the rgbd camera is used to simultaneously acquire color images and depth images. In this paper, we propose an end to end pipeline for estimating 3d human poses that works in real time in an off the shelf computer, using as input video sequences captured with a commercial rgbd sensor.

We propose an approach to estimate 3d human pose in real world units from a single rgbd image and show that it exceeds performance of monocular 3d pose estimation approaches from color as well as pose estimation exclusively from depth.
