Calvary Food Pantry The calvary food pantry provides for families facing food insecurity in our church and throughout the community. we currently need a wide variety of non perishable grocery items to distribute to those in need on thursdays and at upcoming drive thru events. Food pantry each week, calvary’s food pantry provides food for about 40 families from the community. click here to serve in this ministry. we also provide food to other needs in and around our area. learn more on how you can help by donating food for these people and families.
Food Pantry Calvary Church Food pantry clothes closet food and clothing for families and individuals in need of assistance. contact: sara blue. House of hope, a ministry of calvary church, exists to provide spiritual, physical, and emotional support to our community. house of hope is a food pantry whose priority is relationship. we provide each guest with the opportunity to spend time with mentors before their allotted shopping appointment. This pantry has been operating at calvary united methodist church since march, 2008, when it was accepted as a member agency of the central pennsylvania food bank (cpfb). the cupboard currently serves a client base which may number from 88 to 130 families in a single regularly scheduled distribution. The clothing bank offers gently used—and some new—adult, youth, and children’s clothes to qualified food pantry households, as well as calvary church global partners and others in need. church members are encouraged to donate clean clothes and shoes during open store hours.
