Fundraiser By Dan Haggarty Nepal Covid Donations For Rotary Club Kathmandu Nhcf supported cash donation of cad 300.00 to “feeding the hungry” project in nepal through rotary club of nanaimo – daybreak, bc, canada. this joint effort of rotaracts all over north america is focused to collect funds of cad33,000 for feeding 100,000 meals to vulnerable people affected by covid 19 related lockdowns. With the pandemic worsening in nepal donations are sought and can be made through the rawcs project online: donations.rawcs .au 134 2019 20. the rawcs project has raised just under $20,000aus which has greatly assisted the rc of kathmandu in its efforts to assist the local community.
Help Nepal Rotary Club Of La Crosse The money raised on gofund.me provided an oxygen concentrator, for a small hospital in madi municipality in southern nepal. (see below) the concentrator is the important bit between an oxygen cylinder and the patients nose. big thank you for your donations. Rotary club of kathmandu distributed 54 units of 10 l oxygen concentrator worth of us$ 44,000 to 35 heath institutions (hospitals, heath centers and isolation centers) of nepal. With the donation so far received amounting to gbp 1740.00, we have successfully handed over 5 oxygen concentrators to the baghuada hospital madi, chitwan, nepal in partnership with the rotary clubs of londonderry, limavady and coleraine of the rotary in ireland district 1160. Despite being under covid 19 restrictions ourselves, we managed to raise $5,000 to help nepal. our project partner, rotary club of kathmandu, used these funds to install 9 units of mechanical hand wash stations at the following 7 locations:.
