Essential Programme On Immunization This action guide provides evidence based interventions and other strategies to encourage providers, support teams, and health systems to increase hpv vaccination rates in their clinics and health systems. This guidance document is intended to help district (woreda) and health facility staff review their immunization performance and provides instructions on how to monitor and update their epi microplan regularly. We reviewed monitoring and evaluation (m&e) resources to understand how national immunization system performance has been measured, identifying 631 distinct m&e indicators that reflect the increasing complexity of immunization programs and the changing policies, priorities, and reporting requirements of immunization actors at the global level. Epi managers, who recognize and are already leveraging the synergies between immunization system strengthening and phc, represent natural champions for phc, given their experience putting people at the center of health services and promoting multisectoral action. Confidential, population based, computerized databases that record all immunization doses administered by participating providers to persons residing within a given geopolitical area. Those in the target audience will find this publication useful as they design or improve information systems, develop training materials, evaluate the monitoring system and the data it produces, or look for ways to represent and visualize immunization data in ways that support decision making.
