This page will have information related to the oakwood women’s ministry and the activities they will be hosting. the focus of the ministry is to engage the women of oakwood in both interesting and entertaining activities as well as foster spiritual growth and fellowship.

Oakwood Community Church I am very blessed to be surrounded by so many inspirational women. my mom has always inspired me with her amazing strength. so many times i never realized it, i took it for granted, but she was my rock when i was growing up. she continues to this day to exhibit focus and direction for me. This fall, our women's study will be diving into the gospel of mark with a new 12 week study, discovering god's word, by jean wilund which offers a compelling invitation to deepen your walk with christ through focused biblical literacy. The purpose of oakwood’s one heart women’s ministry is to accept and love women of all ages; to encourage and equip them to grow in christ, and to serve in their families, church, and community. Flourish is a women's mentoring program. kickoff date is january 11 from 9am noon in the oac dining room. join us as we grow stronger together! common ground. ladies (moms, homeschoolers, military wives) join us every other tuesday in oac commons area at 10:00am. we will have a short book study, chat and let the kids play. Our mission is to accompany women of all ages to make a profound impact on the world through their work and service to others. our activities and programs provide women at every stage a positive learning experience focusing on the human, cultural, professional and spiritual aspects of their lives. In january of 2022, the youth pastor at oakwood church contacted our band about leading worship for their believe weekend and we gladly accepted! it was such an incredible weekend, and it is actually why i lead worship at oakwood now!.
