Irma Simply Brand Design Brand identity and packaging design for irmas & irmas hverdag. in 2018, the danish high end supermarket irma implemented a new strategy, “the urban irma”, and as a result, we have updated their visual identity to fully support their new positioning. We created a design that takes you back in time – and reflect 300 years of shipping in every single detail. all elements in the design, from the vintage decorations and illustrations to the text and brand story, looks like it has been around forever, and even the shape of the bottle has been lifted straight out of the history books.

Irma Simply Brand Design With their art cans, art bags, toys, packaging, distinctive blue checks, mao shoes, and neon signs in the cityscape, irma has made art and design a part of people’s everyday lives. I’m a multidisciplinary creative with 20 years of experience in fashion, textile, and surface design, now expanding my work into storytelling, publishing, and brand consulting. my strength. Welcome! this is your guide to the irma brand identity. it explains who we are and what we do, and it outlines the look and feel of our visual identity. use it to tell a clear and consistent story – to build understanding and trust – across all our activities and communications. As a continuation thereof, idna group created a new packaging design for irma’s two own labels “irma’s” and “irma’s hverdag”. the task was to design two product lines that were easy to distinguish, making it easier for consumers to choose.

Irma Simply Brand Design Welcome! this is your guide to the irma brand identity. it explains who we are and what we do, and it outlines the look and feel of our visual identity. use it to tell a clear and consistent story – to build understanding and trust – across all our activities and communications. As a continuation thereof, idna group created a new packaging design for irma’s two own labels “irma’s” and “irma’s hverdag”. the task was to design two product lines that were easy to distinguish, making it easier for consumers to choose. She has kept her original shape, but is e.g. now also used as a watermark, tone in tone in the new colours. the checkered pattern is an easy recognizable element in the irma design, and it is known from the iconic blue pack with irma coffee.
