The covid 19 pandemic has presented many hardships. but, like every situation, there are silver linings that leaders would be remiss to ignore. today we’re sharing more of the positive outcomes we’ve gleaned from the ways schools have reacted to the pandemic. This article contributes to knowledge and understanding about leading schools during the covid 19 pandemic crisis by reviewing 21 articles published during the immediate period of the pandemic (during 2020–2021). We selected 21 papers with a particular focus on school leadership practices and key issues related to covid 19. exploring the major disruptions to all learning practices caused by the pandemic provides an opportunity to understand the leadership practices which emerged.
