Although 2020 wasn't an easy year, we learned a lot about how to learn, work, and thrive in hard times. here's what we need to know going forward. Let’s also remember the lessons learned through self reflection on the good, the bad and the ugly of the year. this exercise of reflection will help identify the silver linings for yourself from what could be called a rubbish year in many respects. But are you sure there lessons from 2020 you want to carry forward? whether you’ve struggled or thrived amid 2020’s challenges, you’ve likely experienced unprecedented growth. perhaps it was learning to live with uncertainty or learning how to work or study remotely?. Let’s face it, 2020 has been an unprecedented year. as i reflect on a year filled with so much change, i am beyond grateful for the lessons that emerged throughout the year. From being catapulted out of my sense of normalcy to navigating harvard classes from my childhood home in okeechobee, florida, i have gathered 20 lessons, 20 platitudes that encapsulate most of the growing pains that i endured as a remote student in 2020.
