Congress has tracked how mexican tcos affect security on the u.s. mexico border, perpetrate violence, and contribute to the u.s. opioid crisis. a major concern is the organizations’ trafficking of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and synthetic opioids, such as fentanyl.
