This paper presents an approach of statistical analysis to identify the most common factors that affect the students’ performance and then use artificial neural networks (anns) to predict students’ performance within the blended learning environment of saudi electronic university (seu). Analysis of data generated from student interaction with learning management systems (lmss) in blended learning (bl) environments may assist with the identification of students at risk of failing, but to what extent this may be possible is unknown. Blended learning provides flexibility for students to learn anywhere and anytime while still maintaining social interaction. the goal is to take advantage of both online and in class learning through a combination of direct instruction, self study, and online media.
