Professional Learning In A Pandemic Recent learning forward webinars have focused on helping educators navigate the impact of the covid 19 crisis on teaching and learning. we posed survey questions to webinar attendees, and here’s what we’ve learned about their professional learning needs and opportunities. Some of these changes to health professional education are substantially different to previous teaching methods; many have not yet stabilised but are likely to be sustained, creating new challenges and opportunities to enhance teaching and learning in the health professions.

Did professional development in the areas of technology prepare k 12 teachers for instructing their students online? how was teachers’ knowledge and skills of technology related to their self eficacy in teaching k 12 students online?. How have teachers’ professional learning needs changed since the beginning of the pandemic? during the pandemic, teachers were asking for guidance on providing instruction to language learners (whether english or partner language) using online synchronous means.

This study seeks to examine how the design and implementation of a professional learning community promotes teacher educators’ professional learning during the recent health crisis.
