The Ultimate Nikon Df Review - Real Life Usage | Nikon Df, Nikon D4, Nikon This review is not the type of review that you’d expect to read shortly after a camera is announced, nor is it a review chock full of specs and technical details. instead, this is a real world review of what it has been like using the nikon df as my primary camera for the last 3 months. In short, the nikon df is a keeper. the nikon df is not going to be able to keep up with newer cameras of the likes of the d850 or the leica q2 in terms of autofocus performance, but the df simply shines where it was designed for – pure image quality. Launched in 2013, the d f was and remains the only dslr of its kind, with retro design cues from nikon's good ol' analog slr cameras from decades past – think nikon fm2 and others.
