Understanding The Women In Leadership Barriers | Alberta Teachers' Association This article highlights the results of a needs assessment survey on systemic barriers that impact the entrance and progression of women in educational leadership roles. Research at the intersection of gender highlights various factors that come to play for women in leadership: family life, caretaking, socio cultural roles and perceptions, age, race, ethnicity, education and economics. This research underscores the need for targeted policy reforms, inclusive leadership training, and enhanced mentorship programs to create equitable leadership pathways. as a capping project for my master of education in studies in educational leadership, this work deepens the understanding of gendered leadership dynamics. it provides.
