Public Health Leadership Training The center for women in politics and public policy hosted the public leadership education network (plen) seminar, which focused on women leading the way in health policy, sept. 18 via zoom. the seminar featured speakers such as texas house representatives and united states department of agriculture (usda) officials. Twu’s center for women in politics & public policy (cwppp) and the public leadership education network (plen) will host a day long virtual seminar focused on women leading the way in health policy.

Explore the myths of vulnerability and how being more vulnerable and authentic creates a more competent and courageous leader. this course will be offered virtually, enabling network development across a statewide cohort of your colleagues, and eliminating the need for travel. We developed a virtual leadership program to promote the experiences of women leaders in global health in different disciplines and career paths to develop concrete recommendations for young women and their institutions. This program explored the landscape of public health leadership, both nationally and globally. speakers spoke to the following questions — how can we better support building pipelines for women’s leadership in the field?. The women in health care leadership symposium organized by students in the sloan program in health administration at the cornell jeb e. brooks school of public policy featured a diverse panel of women for their speaker series.
