Walter Sisulu University | STAG African From april 2021 to november 2023, the university soared to become the second highest spender on infrastructure projects nationwide, a testament to prof songca’s strategic vision and execution. The lecture halls are not the only building being worked on to improve the university infrastructure in the zamukulungisa site. the university is also building an it hub which is an extension to the library.

Walter Sisulu University – Biza IAfrica Our bosch projects team played a key role as part of a consortium dedicated to upgrading the infrastructure of 12 buildings across three campuses of walter sisulu university in the eastern cape. This is a development that the university should celebrate. as already indicated by vice chancellor, prof songca, the buildings that we are here to launch today are also funded through the infrastructure and efficiency grant (ieg) and the sibusiso bengu development programme (sb dp). In 2021, under the leadership of songca, the university embarked on a full renewal initiative to modernise its facilities and ensure that students have access to state of the art resources. The first international conference on sustainable construction and the built environment is currently underway in east london to explore innovative approaches to infrastructure development and address challenges within the built environment sector.
