WSU Startup Highlighted At National Showcase | WSU Insider | Washington State University The showcase, which is being held virtually this year from dec. 7 11, spotlights 22 startup companies from across the nation. it is designed to highlight the important role of federal funding for university based research in driving entrepreneurship and the american innovation economy. Every year new start up companies emerge from wsu to bring their ideas to the market place. protium began in pullman in 2015 as protium innovations llc, a startup out of the washington state university hydrogen properties for energy research (hyper) lab.

The New WSU Insider | WSU Insider | Washington State University The protium company, a wsu founded startup that produces novel liquid hydrogen tanks, was featured at the aplu and aau's national innovation and entrepreneurship showcase this week. A wsu led study shows how smartwatch data can accurately identify people’s daily activities — like working, eating, or running errands — laying the groundwork for better health assessment. Washington state university students were featured in this showcase through their work forming eco carbon technology, inc., (ect) startup. through the showcase, the ect team and wsu were recognized nationally for their exemplary work at the intersection of science, technology, and business. Showcase honors the scholarly achievements of faculty, staff, and students. it packs 5 days with poster sessions, competitions, and speeches, capped off by an elegant banquet and awards ceremony. please join us in honoring the outstanding work of wsu’s academic community.
