Youth Mentoring - City Gospel Mission There is a need in greater cincinnati for youth mentors to help our young people become all that god desires. we understand and believe mentoring to be defined as a one to one relationship that includes friendship and discipleship and is guided by a healthy and spiritually balanced role model. We partner with local churches to give youth ages 8 15 caring, enduring, one to one relationships that change their lives. this relationship is built on a foundation of friendship and discipleship. just a few hours each week can make a big difference in the lives of the mentors and youth!. We offer a wide variety of programs for youth, but most importantly, we help establish and support relationships between youth and christ centered, caring mentors. One of our youth mentors was discouraged at losing contact with the student he was mentoring. he even thought of stopping his mentorship. but god brought the two back together again. watch staff member jenny towner recount their story of god’s faithfulness. There is no shortage of mentoring groups that highlight positive living and civic role models for young people. we see those mentors who tutor and hold career building sessions and workshops. We want to see jesus christ transforming greater cincinnati’s youth through churches. the city gospel mission youth mentoring program is looking for churches to partner with for the upcoming school year.
