Youth Mentoring Program - Community Flower Studio I graduated from school of public health, unsw’s phd program in 2007. my research interest is to explore the help seeking pathway of chinese australians when they experienced something similar to clinical depression or other psychological distress. The community flower studio's youth mentoring program is one of the finalists for the 2024 mental health matters community initiative award.

Welcome To The Community Flower Studio! - Community Flower Studio Dallas area kids enjoy a safe summer camp experience with games, bible lessons, life skills, snacks and meals, weekly community field trips, and more. underserved students in 5th to 12th grades develop leadership skills while growing spiritually during the summer with character building activities. ‘cfs’ is a youth focused charity and a for purpose social enterprise selling floral arrangements, indoor plants and art pieces to the public. net proceeds will fund our youth mentoring program and help young people find meaningful employment. Cfs has hired a co working table one day a week at the new social enterprise community hub since april 2023. bibi and other members would offer mentoring sessions to support young members (aged 11 – 25 yr) on various topics. Youth mentoring program dr bibiana chan, cf, and other cfs members in various professions are available to mentor young people, share their work experiences. topics covered: study skills, time management, goal setting, getting motivated, write a resume that stands out of the crowd, job interviewing skills and assertive communication, etc.

Welcome To The Community Flower Studio! - Community Flower Studio Cfs has hired a co working table one day a week at the new social enterprise community hub since april 2023. bibi and other members would offer mentoring sessions to support young members (aged 11 – 25 yr) on various topics. Youth mentoring program dr bibiana chan, cf, and other cfs members in various professions are available to mentor young people, share their work experiences. topics covered: study skills, time management, goal setting, getting motivated, write a resume that stands out of the crowd, job interviewing skills and assertive communication, etc. Since may 2023, cfs launched our official youth mentoring program to mentor young people via zoom or in person. beside me, there are other members available to be mentors. Cfs is a not for profit social enterprise with the mission to help youth learn life skills and find meaningful employment. you will be mentored by bibi, the president and founder of cfs who worked as a florist for 5 years before founding cfs. In a mentoring program at the local boys & girls club, young people find positive adult mentors in staff and volunteers who notice their strengths, listen to their concerns and open up doors of possibility. The youth mentoring program was created to work with youth in the most formative years of their lives we aim to connect youth with an adult mentor in our organization that will work with the young adult over a period of four (4) years.
